     Sarah J. Lown was born on 28 August 1890 at Ancram Lead Mines, Columbia County, NY, USA. An internet posting says that she was born at Ancram Lead Mines, NY.¹ She was the daughter of William W. Lown and Isabelle Finkle. She married Ernest Twadell Hotchkin at Ulster County, NY, USA, circa 1910. Sarah died on 19 January 1985 at Copake, Columbia County, NY, USA, at age 94.²

     Charlotte Maude Hotchkin was born on 4 April 1911 at Highland, Ulster County, NY, USA.¹ She was the daughter of Ernest Twadell Hotchkin and Sarah J. Lown.
