Lucretia Lewis died at the age of 67 years. Born Lucretia Barnard on October 10, 1775 in Turkey Hills, East Granby, Hartford County, Connecticut, her parents were Sergeant David Barnard and Dolly Winchell. Lucretia married John Lewis in 1795 and they were the parents of 13 children. The children were named Celestia, Lydia, Mary, Alvah, Samuel, Emily, Sarah, Abi, Mary, Amaza, James, Edward and Benjamin.
