Jeanne was a retired employee of Amphenol Corp. of Sidney.
She is survived by her husband, Howard N. Silvernail, of Otego; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Robert York of Otego and Louis and Eileen York of Acton, Mass; two grandchildren, Elizabeth York and Brian York of Acton, Mass. She is also survived by two nieces.
Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
Funeral arrangements are by the Westcott Funeral Home Inc., 123 Main St., Unadilla, under the direction of James S. Westcott and James C. Magee, funeral directors..1

She was the widow of Augustus Curtis, lighting engineer and one of the developers of indirect lighting and founder of the Curtis Leger Fixture company, now Curtis Lighting, Inc. Mrs. Curtis was active in Red Cross work in World War I, and in the last war was active in behalf of naval air officers at the Glenview Naval Air Station. She was a member of the D. A. R. Another son, Kenneth, of 245 Linden Ave., Winnetka , also survives..3 She was buried at Oak Woods Cemetery, at Chicago, Cook County, IL, USA.
