William is likely the brother of John, who came to Jasper County, Iowa about 1855. Benjamin was a physician with offices at 31 North State Street, Chicago, according to the 1928 Polk Directory, and lived at 5522 North Kenmore. Irma, who was a steno, is listed in the same Directory as living at 5015 1/2 North Kenmore, and is probabily related. Benjamin's wife Lillian, two sons and a daughter are with him at the 1900 Census, but at the 1910 Census the children are living at a separate address. Lillian's sister Dora Zollman, born Nov, 1861 in Alabama is with the family in 1900. A 1892 Voting Record gives his address as 733 Kenmore, Ward 25, Precinct 16, where he has lived for 18 days, and 39 years in the County and State of IL.
