Anthony gave his mothers birth as 1893..1 She was the daughter of James Evine Rogers and Sarah Catherine Brink. She married Nels Christian Nelson at SD, USA, circa 1915. She married Emery Willis Hotchkin at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, USA, on 5 September 1924. The marriage date comes from Minnie's obituary.. Minnie died on 17 March 1983 at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, at age 90. Her obituary, dated 16 Mar 1983 claims that she died on Monday, which would be 14 March..2,3 She was buried at Bear Butte Cemetery, at Sturgis, Meade County, SD, USA.
Minnie had a first marriage to a Mr. Nelson and they had a daughter Helen and a son Kenneth. Kenneth was identified by a note in Minnie's funeral file, where Helen asked the funeral home to locate Kenneth's grave in Bear Butte Cemetery and place a monument on the site. The funeral director replied to Mrs. Helen Wells of Rapid City that he had placed the following monument, Kenneth M. Nelson, born 14 August 1919, died 5 August 1933.

Minnie's obituary says, "they were homesteaders in Meade Co. She was a member of the Meade Senior Citizens, RSVP and the United Methodist Church. Surviving her were her daughter, Helen Wells of Rapid City, two sons, Angelo of Memphis, TN and Anthony of Bloomington, MN, one sister, Anna McGraw of Kanahuli, Hawaii, 13 grandchildren and 15 gread grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, one son (Kenneth Nelson) and a grandson."

He married Lucile C. Belford L. Skinner was born on 29 June 1905 at MT, USA. Age 25 at the 1930 census.1 He was the son of Jacob Ulysses Skinner and Azalea Van Houten. Belford L. An article in the ST Joseph MI Herald Press dated Monday Jan 22, 1945 said that James E. Hotchkin was leaving today for an extended vist with the B. L. Skinner's of Vancouver, WA. The article said tha Mrs Skinner was his neice and that he had been living for the past two years with his sister and brother-in-law Eugne Denslow in Benton Harbor.2
Belford L. Skinner died on 20 June 1990 at Quartzsite, La Paz County, AZ, USA, at age 84.1 He was buried at Quartzsite (Hi Jolly) Cemetery, at Quartzsite, La Paz County, AZ, USA.

Perthema was born at Stockbridge, Berkshire County, MA, USA, on 17 January 1787. Calculated from age 60-3-15 at death. She was the daughter of Asa Bement and Abigail Brown. She married Abraham Hodgkin at Berkshire County, MA, USA, in 1805.2,3 Perthema Bement died on 2 June 1847 at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, USA, at age 60.4,5,3 She was buried at Hope Cemetery, at Newark Valley, Tioga County, NY, USA.6,7,8
Parthenia was the daughter of Asa Bement and Abigail Brown. W. B. Gay says that the marriage was to Partenia Bement, eldest daughter of Asa Bement, in 1805. The Bement Family of America, confirms the marriage.
The Compiler and his wife Cathy found the historic Bement homestead on their 1993 summer tour on New York. We were gathering data in Tioga County along Route 38, Newark Valley, when we saw a sign listing the homestead. We stopped and introduced ourselves as descendants of Asa Bement's son-in-law and got a welcome reception as they were looking for additional information on the family.3,2
