Her grand daughter Sue Carden of West Palm Beach, FL was her Maid of Honor.      Lemon died of dropsy of the heart. He was sickly and likely had diphtheria when the rest of the children died of it, but he recovered at that time.

     The 1880 census finds him, his wife and two children in Prattsburg, Steuben Co., NY. Levi went to Curvansville, PA to work on a dam and it was there that he met Julia Fee. Later they returned to Prattsburg and lived on a farm next to his parents. He also lived with his son Charles family for many years. He died of heart trouble on the Hotchkin Farm in Prattsburg. His obituary referred to him as Levi Orlando.³
