She married Phillip A. Erck at Niagara County, NY, in October 1948. Betty J. Steen died on 20 October 2005 at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA, at age 77.² She was buried at Corwin Cemetery, at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA.

     Nancy Valenti writes to say that Betty and her husband had two sons. Her husbands surname was Erck and they lived in Newfane.

     Marjorie R. Steen was born in December 1929 at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA. Age 5/12 at the 8 April 1930 census.¹ She was the daughter of Roger R. Steen and Maude Edna Hotchkin. She married Elvin R. Neidlinger at NY, USA, on 18 April 1950. Marjorie R. Steen died in 1985 at NY. She was buried at Corwin Cemetery, at Newfane, Niagara County, NY, USA.

     Nancy Valenti says that Marjorie married a man with the surname of Neidlinger and that they had four children. Nancy reports that both Marjorie and her husband have died.

Caculation from his birth would give a marriage in 1909 and from her birth a marriage in 1912. We know that she was in the Cunningham home in 1910 and he living with his parents.. Bennett Thomas James appeared on the census of 1930 at San Francisco, San Francisco County, CA, USA. The census lists the family as: Bennett James, 43, married at 22, born CA, father born IL, mother born CA; wife Hazel, 36, born OK, parents born OK, married at 19; dau Dorothy, 16, born CA..
