He was killed going to work in his Honda car when he hit a mattress on the road, ran off road and hit a big tree..

She was buried at Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, at White, Bartow County, GA, USA.

Sarah (Sallie) M. Edwards married Joseph Hendrick Parker Colquitt in 1877 at GA, USA. Sarah (Sallie) M. Edwards married C. A. Mitchell on 15 January 1877 at GA. Sarah (Sallie) M. Edwards died in June 1901 at Cartersville, Bartow County, GA, USA, at age 58. She was buried at Elmhurst Cemetery, at Elberton, Elbert County, GA, USA.

David Augustus Quarles

     David was born at TN, USA, on 11 September 1812. An internet site gives a SC birth location.. He married Catherine Shaw at Cass County, GA, USA, on 21 April 1839. David Augustus Quarles appeared on the census of 1860 at Cass County, GA, USA. The census lists the family as: D. Quarles, 43, male, Planter, $25,000, $10,000, born TN; C., 32, female, born TN; E., 16, female, born TN; F., female, born TN; N., 11, female, born GA; L., 7, born GA; M, 4. female, born GA; W., 2, male, born GA.. David died on 27 July 1878 at Cartersville, Bartow County, GA, USA, at age 65.

     The "History of Bartow Co., GA claims that David was an early real estate speculator and bought and sold property in Paulding, Floyd, and as far away as Chatham Counties. He was an early member of the Racoon Creek Baptist Church and lived on Alabama Road. In 1839 he married Catherine Shaw, daughter of William W. Shaw and they had 10 children; however, the book only accounts for six children. The 1850 census has him owning one male and three female slaves.

Quarles died on 6 March 1898 at Floyd County, GA, USA, at age 44. She was buried at Cave Sprihng Cemetery, at Cave Spring, Floyd County, GA, USA.
