When they left Kingsport the Moorehouse family had just moved into a house on Virginia Ave. When they moved to Oak Ridge the house had been sold and they had bought a lot on Valley Street. When first returning to Kingsport they rented the first floor of a house owned by Myrtle Fields Moorehouse's mother, Ida Virginia. Here they lived for about two years until their house on Valley Street was built. They moved here in 1948 and Cris lived here until he was married in 1961. After his return to the US he was Honorably Discharged from the USAF. Cris returned to Kingsport and once again started working for Eastman. In 1971 he and Joyce were divorced. She soon married and moved to North Carolina and then to Florida. Cris remained in Kingsport and continued working at Eastman. In 1977 he met and Married Theona Novella Cable on May 20. He soon transferred to the Research Division of Eastman and returned to School and completed Eastman requirements and was promoted to Technician. Cris was a Technical Associate when he retired.
